A comprehensive outsourcing of product development for e.g. new product families (flexible outdoor lines and others) is not uncommon. Leave plastics engineering to external experts while you focus on your core business - light. It is also a good idea to start the product development externally in order to direct all resources internally to the establishment of a new technology (machine purchase). While you (gladly with our help) train your staff and install the technology, we already start with development & tooling to avoid too long downtimes of the equipment.
As a competent partner in the field of plastics technology, we are the contact for all semi-finished products and components, starting with positive/negative molds for potting, thermoplastic extrusion profiles, injection molded articles, 3D printed components and much more. While we manufacture many products ourselves, we draw on a long-standing network of suppliers. Supplier management has recently proven to be elementally important in this regard in order to ensure compatibility of a wide variety of supplier parts. In many cases, we are able to prescribe materials to suppliers, or make use of materials we have developed ourselves.
For many years, LED-Protect GmbH has been the official partner and consulting service provider for the company Demak SRL from Turin/Italy. Demak has been designing and installing customized and standardized LED potting systems for more than 10 years. As a pioneer and market leader in the field of flexible lighting applications, we have a long-standing partnership. In the field ofservice & application technology, we help you design your own potting system, or select together with you the right raw material (polyurethane / epoxy ), which is developed & manufactured by the subsidiary S.E. SPECIAL ENGINES also in Turin.
